What does Life Path 6 mean?
Life Path 6 is The Caretaker: everyone's safe place. It is what a birthday adds up to when its month, day and year are each reduced, then added. Its strongest traits in the machine's library: nurturing, responsible and protective. About 10.2% of birthdays from 1950 to 2009 add up to 6.
The Math
Calculated facts only, worked out the same way the machine does it.
- How it is worked out: reduce the month, the day and the year to one digit each (keeping 11, 22 and 33 whole), add the three, then reduce the total the same way.
- Worked example, January 4, 1990: month 1 → 1; day 4 → 4; year 1+9+9+0 = 19 → 1. 1 + 4 + 1 = 6.
- How common: 10.2% of all birthdays from 1950 to 2009 (2,244 of 21,915 days) add up to 6.
- Number family (the machine's compatibility convention): 3, 6, 9, which are The Entertainer, The Caretaker and The Old Soul.
